Neil commenced Practice in Arana Hills in 1981, now marking 42+ years of service to the Hills District. He is a Queensland graduate who has postgraduate diploma qualifications in Musculoskeletal Medicine. As such, he is involved as a Teacher of Musculoskeletal Medicine in Queensland contributing to the knowledge of other doctors in this area of medicine. He is a past representative of Australian General Practitioners on the National Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Conditions Advisory Group; Arthritis Australia as well as the Medical and Scientific Advisory Committee of Osteoporosis Australia.
Dr Hearnden is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia. This means that he has successfully completed a high level of training with the College and has proven skills in the diagnosis, treatment and management of skin cancer.
He was a founding member of the Brisbane North Division of General Practice and was actively involved on the board as Vice President; he also served as a council member on the Queensland branch of the AMA and has represented the Royal Australian College of GPs on the National Immunisation Committee.
He has now completed a Master of Medicine degree from the University of Qld in the field of skin cancer.
When relaxing, he spends time on his beloved Grand Piano.

Dr Chamara is a caring and experienced GP who provides personalised care for patients of all ages. He completed his medical degree at the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka before moving to Australia in 2011. Since then, he has worked in a range of hospitals across NSW and QLD, including Blacktown, Mount Druitt, Hervey Bay, and Redcliffe Hospitals.
Dr Chamara completed a Diploma in Child Health through the University of Sydney before undertaking his GP training with James Cook University, attaining Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2018. He worked as a GP in Hervey Bay for six years before relocating to Brisbane.
His special interests include Chronic Disease Management, Mental Health, Men’s Health, and Geriatric Care. He is committed to building long-term relationships with his patients and supporting their health at every stage of life.

Dr Nielsen graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor or Surgery (Academic Medal) from James Cook University in 2012. She achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019. She has also obtained a Diploma in Child Health through the University of Sydney as well as completing the FPAA National Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health. She has achieved her Graduate Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health through the University of Sydney. Dr Nielsen is also a registered prescriber of MS-2 Step (used for medical terminations).

Dr Michelle Parry is an experienced General Practitioner based in Queensland, with a career spanning a broad range of clinical and teaching roles. She graduated in medicine from the University of Queensland and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2002.
Her medical practice has included work in urban and rural general practice, hospitals, women’s health and family planning clinics, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health services, and allergy clinics. In addition to her clinical work, she has contributed to medical education through university teaching.
Dr Parry has a special interest in allergy medicine, including the diagnosis and management of food intolerances and allergic conditions. She is trained in skin prick testing and is an associate member of the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy. Dr Parry is happy to discuss hayfever, hives eczema, asthma, food allergies and intolerances. Assessment of these issues involves having a consultation about your symptoms, a physical examination, then possible blood tests ,breathing tests, skin prick testing, dietary modification or referral to a specialist.
