Children are the life blood of a General Practice and they are very welcome here. Our extensions have allowed the provision of a carpeted area for them. Hygiene considerations make it difficult to always provide toys, but many books are available. If your children are very restless, the staff can find some toys for them if requested. However, quiet play is requested to minimise distress to the frail elderly or very ill people who may be waiting also.
Please notify the receptionist when making appointments if you believe your child has a rash or may have a contagious illness such as COVID-19, influenza, whooping cough, chickenpox, or German measles.
If your child is vomiting, there are special bags available from the receptionist.
